This Watermelon Pizza is one of the Easiest, Simplest and Healthiest Summer Desserts!
It’s extremely Healthy, Low- Carb, and Low-Calorie Snack, topped with the Simplest Ingredients, and no need for frosting which make it even easier to prep it in less than 10 minutes.
Watermelon Pizza is one of my favorite Desserts because it’s so Refreshing and Tasty that’s definitely meant for Hot Summer Days.
It’s Summer and all we need is some refreshing snacks to keep up with this crazy heat! Watermelon contains 92% water! So, as they say “Drink your Food/ Chew your Water” especially in these extremely hot days to keep hydrated!
My love for Watermelon is endless, so I always like to come up with different and fun Watermelon Recipes like this Watermelon Pizza and Watermelon Salads!
Watermelon Pizza is basically fresh watermelon slices topped with some Fresh Berries or any fruit of choice with a drizzle of dark chocolate. Which makes it super fun to eat and to wow your guests with this cute and refreshing treat in hot summer days!
Ingredients for Watermelon Pizza:
- Watermelon
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Fresh Mint Leaves
- Melted Dark Chocolate
How to Make Watermelon Pizza:
Slice the watermelon in about 2-3-inches thick rounds and then cut in 6 to 8 wedges like pizza.
Top each slice with some fresh Blueberries, Raspberries, and sliced Strawberries.
Drizzles some dark chocolate over the slices and top with fresh mint leaves.
How To Melt Chocolate:
I love Dark Chocolate so Normally I make my Chocolate Bark with Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate Chunks.
If you have a Chocolate bar instead of Chocolate chips or chunks, that’s totally fine!
With Using a sharp knife, finely chop the chocolate bar/s into small pieces so that it’ll be easier to melt!
You can melt chocolate in 2 ways, which the easiest and quickest way is adding the Chocolate Chunks in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments.
However, I prefer melting Chocolate using a Double-Boiler method. It takes a little longer for sure! But it’s a safer way for melting Chocolate.
A Double Boiler is simply one bowl that’s stacked on top of a saucepan. The steam from the lower pot gently heats the upper bowl where the chocolate is gradually melted.
This method with using a Double Boiler prevents the chocolate from burning.
Just add a bit of water to a small/Medium Saucepan and bring it to Boil.
In a Heat Resistant Bowl add the chocolate chunks and carefully place it on top of the saucepan. Make sure the Bowl is resting on the edges of the pan, but not touching the water.
Over Medium-low heat stir the Chocolate occasionally, until it melts. For 12 ounces of Chocolate chunks, it will take around 4 to 5 minutes to melt the chocolate. Make sure the Chocolate is completely melted, if not continue the process for another 1 or 2 minutes.
Remove the bowl from the heat once the chocolate is melted to prevent burning. Once the chocolate is cool, drizzle it over the watermelon slices.

- Sliced Almonds, Walnuts or Hazelnuts
Additional Tips for Making Watermelon Pizza :
- In order to Pick a good watermelon, make sure it has a strong, consistent stripe pattern. The green stripes should be a deep dark green, while the pale stripes should be light yellow.
- You can spread some light Cream cheese or Non-fat Greek Yogurt over your Watermelon Pizza slices before adding the toppings.
- Instead of drizzling melted chocolate over the Watermelon Pizza slices, you can use Honey or Maple Syrup.
- I strongly recommend prep the watermelon pizza and serve it immediately or refrigerate it in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic not more than a day.

Ingredients
- 1 Watermelon
- 1/2 cup Blueberries
