I’m Christine, but everyone calls me Kiki! Welcome to Kiki FoodLand!

If you’re struggling to shed a couple of pounds or maintain your current weight, without spending hours making a healthy meal in the kitchen, you’ve come to the right place!

I strongly believe eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring! When you hear about healthy eating, the first thing that comes to mind is tasteless and boring food!

The truth is you can still cook and eat your favorite food with substituting a few ingredients to make it healthier. 

My recipes are Easy, Healthy and Tasty, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

About Kiki FoodLand

Throughout the past 8 years I’ve spent so much money and time on different weight Loss programs, diet plans, products, and pills that I’ve lost track!

With being a Full time student and having a full time job, I couldn’t dedicate extra time to exercise!

So, my only solution seemed to be dieting through variety of weight Loss programs!

Every time I lost around 15 to 25 pounds, I gained around 10 to 15 pounds back only weeks after finishing the program!

So, this made me feel extremely disappointed, and upset because I kept eating healthy, and still gained weight!

Then of cource, I tried another program that claimed to be different from others…

As you see, losing weight seemed like an endless maze of different diet programs, products and pills!

Eventually, after years I learned to stay away from these programs and their products.

I started to LOVE myself, and made peace with my body!

Additionally, I started reading lots of books and articles about nutritions and clean eating. More I researched, more I stayed away from Weigh Loss Industry!

I also, managed to speak to a couple of dietitians and nutritionists who shared plenty of information with me. Not only they entirely changed my mindset on eating, but improved my well-being both mentally and physically!

Finally, I started buying fresh and wholesome food, without spending crazy amount of money on “magical” pills or diet products!

Most importantly, I learned how to stay away from processed food and read labels properly.

With learning how to substitute a few ingredients to make my favorite foods healthier, I totally changed my eating habits. Then boom! I started seeing real results in my weight!

Since then, I’ve been able to maintain my weight and enjoy my life!

Finally, I am free from all crazy restrictive diets and Weight Loss Products!

This is the main reason behind how Kiki Foodland was created!

I decided to create this Food Blog to help others like me, to change their lifestyle with learning amazing tips and easy recipes! 

My Food Philosophy

By now you’ve probably figured that I’m Anti-Weight Loss Programs, that promote any sort of pill or product that promise you to lose up to 10 pounds in 2 weeks or even less!

There’s no “Magical” product that can do this without harming your organs! Not to mention their endless side effects after consuming those products!

These programs compel YOU and ME to spend a massive amount of time, energy, and MONEY trying to shrink our bodies!

The restrictive diet plans included in such programs, make you be ashamed of your food choices!

They also, demonize certain foods in order to promote their products to “Help You” lose weight!

You don’t have to follow any special “Diet” to lose weight or stay healthy! You shouldn’t be ashamed of eating your favorite meal or snack! 

Eating is a lifestyle! Start making good choices on your eating habits today!

A little More About Me…

I’m obsessed with cooking, and I’m always creative on making new recipes.

I love to learn about different National Dishes around the world, and if needed make some modifications in the recipes to reduce or eliminate fat, salt, sugar, and unwanted extra calories!

I’m in LOVE with Persian, Italian, and Indian dishes, which you will find a plenty of recipes here!

I have learned a lot from my Mom who’s a great cook, and her small kitchen is a piece of heaven!

Anything my Mom cooks makes you feel like you’re having a meal in paradise!

She’s shared lots of recipes, tips and “tricks” with me that I’ll share them with you here!

Above all, I love eating food, while in presence of good company. My husband and my family are my biggest supporters and “fans”, and they get very excited when I cook for them!

My family members are picky eaters! When you have picky eaters in your family you have to make a dish or two that goes with everyone’s liking!

Besides others being picky, my Dad and Sister are vegetarians, so I always have to consider that while cooking for my big family!

My husband is my “personal food taster”, and he’s the main reason I have become more creative in cooking new dishes, or modifying recipes! 

Besides, my husband is a photographer, and having him with his crazy skillsets is a blessing!

My husband and I have been together for 9 years, and eventually we got married in a beautiful day in 2019. 

Since the first month we were dating, we began drawing some silly “characters” for each other.

Each drawing was about Me or Him doing a certain activity like; cooking, reading, working, sleeping, and etc.

Soon, that became our main source of communication!

It was my husband’s idea to use the female character as a Cook for Kiki FoodLand Logo.

Matter of fact, he’s the one who created the Kiki FoodLand Logo!

Besides having a great concept for my blog, we wanted to give it a meaning, which this logo justifies that!
